The Rheem RTCH012TA-JQV-1 and RTCH012TA-JQH-1 pool chiller heat pumps offer the same cooling capacity, efficiency and electrical performance. Both models deliver a nominal cooling capacity of 12.11 kW, achieve a COP of up to 3.85, operate on a 220-240V single phase power supply with a 32A circuit, and utilise an environmentally friendly R410A refrigerant. Each unit features a durable titanium shell and tube heat exchanger, Rheem IQ Control, and a quiet operating noise level of just 51 dBA, making them suitable for both residential and commercial pool cooling applications.
The key difference is the cabinet and airflow design. The RTCH012TA-JQV-1 features a top discharge fan, making it ideal for installations with clear overhead space, while the RTCH012TA-JQH-1 features a side discharge fan, making it better suited to areas with limited height clearance. Both models provide the same reliable performance, with the choice depending on the installation environment and available airflow clearances.
